The regionSECRET LAKE COMO
A pyramid above Lake Como

Someone considers it, and maybe they aren’t completely wrong, a cumbersome kitsch monument. For sure it is one of the most surprising and awkward places of Lake Como. It’s 1852 and the pyramid was built as a funerary monument not for a pharaoh but for Joseph Frank, a German man who did a lot for the people of Laglio. It is a really strange sensation when you see it from the Lake or from the road following its shore. The lights of the sunset and the warmth of the evening make its look even more mysterious. If you wish to know more deeply this and other little known places you can join cultural and gastronomical itineraries organized along the whole region.
