Tremezzo: hamlets, castles and the Madonna Nera
A walking tour to discover the hamlets of Tremezzo. From one of the renowned place of the lakefront we walk through the narrow alleys of the town, discovering the places familiar to the locals but little known by tourists. We reach the Rogaro Tower, located in a wonderful position over Lake Como, to enjoy the view.

DescriptionLike many towns on Lake Como, Tremezzo has two souls: the first, fine and elegant, and the second, simple and hidden. This tour will let you explore the different aspects of this place.
Starting from the beautiful Teresio Olivelli Park, where nature and architecture blend in a supreme harmony, we enter the historical center of Rogaro.
Here the houses gather around the square that of the church of the Madonna di Ensiedeln, better known as the Madonna Nera: a place of popular devotion and ancient history.
Finally we walk up to the Torre di Rogaro, a beautiful green balcony, to contemplate the beauty of the lake.

Requirements: Wear comfortable shoes and clothes.
Difficulty: Itinerary on easy paths with some gradients. A specific tranining is not required but the habit to walk for some hours is required.
